Garbage and Recycling
Garbage is collected every Monday in the Chautauqua with the exception of Memorial Day and Labor Day, when it will be collected on Tuesday. Recyclables are collected every other week. The dates for collection of recyclables are as follows:

Recycle bins are available at the Borough Office at no charge. Acceptable items include: clear, green, and brown glass bottles and jars, aluminum and steel cans, newspaper and plastic beverage, cleanser and detergent bottles coded #1 PET and #2 HDPE. Please call the Borough Office at 964-3270 with any questions. The contracted hauler is TNT Sanitation Service, Inc., 717.866.2322.
